Dublin Dog Hub provides shelter and rehoming services across Dublin and the surrounding areas. We work with Dublin City Council and run a private rescue in parallel.
About Us
Dublin City Council Dogs
We are under contract to Dublin City Council's Animal Welfare Unit to provide safe, secure and comfortable accommodation to stray, seized or unwanted dogs. We strive to reunite lost dogs with their owners and to find new homes for dogs who need them.

Linda's Private Rescue
Founded by Linda Martin in February 2024, our private rescue works alongside the DCC contract. Every dog receives the same care and attention, and we work hard to rehabilitate where needed and find these dogs their forever home.
All visits are strictly by appointment only so we can keep the environment quiet, safe and restful for our dogs.

Duke
Malinois ยท Male ยท Brown and Black
Just like his pal Archie this is Duke and we could really say exactly the same thing about him. Duke is a 2 yr old male Belgian Malinois. Like all his breed he is really active and will need someone with breed experience to take him under their wing. He will be brilliant in an environment where he is challenged and has always got something to do. He will then repay you as such a loyal/clever and affectionate dog.
George

๐พ Meet George โ A Livewire Looking for His Forever Home! ๐พ When you can't get a dog to sit still for photos, you know you've got a character on your hands โ meet George! ๐ We only managed to snap two shots of this energetic boy, and honestly, that tells you everything you need to know about him! George is a 3-year-old Bully cross who came to us as a stray. When he arrived, he had a broken toe and a few other minor issues, but we've got him all patched up and he is now fully healthy and ready to find his forever home! โค๏ธ He's full of life and personality โ but we won't pretend he's a finished article. George hasn't had much training along the way, and he'll need a patient owner willing to put in the work. The good news? He is hugely motivated by food and balls, which makes him a trainer's dream! With the right guidance, this boy has so much potential. What George needs: ๐ก Space to run โ he's not a flat or apartment dog, he needs room to stretch those legs ๐ Consistent training โ he's ready and willing to learn with the right motivation โค๏ธ A patient, loving home โ someone who sees past the rough edges to the brilliant dog underneath Could you open your heart and your home to George? Staffie X ยท Male ยท White Black Spots
Meet the gorgeous Mr Pongo. He's approx 1.5 year old staffie X who came into our care as a stray. He is a really happy go luck boy and loves to meet people and gives you the biggest grin and tail wag as he does. He has a goofy, clumsy nature and wants to always be under your feet getting belly rubs. We think he would be best suited as the only dog in the home as he seems never to have been socialised with other dogs, but with patience this could be improved. What is a guarantee is that he will love his peeps with every bone in his body. Come and meet him for yourself.

โจ Introducing the cutest little boy, ๐น๐๐๐๐ ๐ฉต ๐พ He is an approx 2 year old terrier, who was found as a stray & sadly never re-claimed ๐ฅบ Ricky is such a fun little chap , he adores playing ๐ฅฐ Whether itโs chasing a ball or running around with a teddy in this mouth, this boy sure knows how to enjoy himself ๐พ ๐งธ Since he came into our care he has been pure joy & hasnโt given us an ounce of bother. Ricky loves people, he thrives off of attention & being told what a good boy he is โฆ bonus points if youโll give him treats .. his favourite ๐ซถ๐ฝ He is great to walk on the lead, very mannerly & loves a good toddle / sniff along the way โบ๏ธ Heโs a social boy with dogs too, he is happy trot on by those he passes on his walks or go over to say hello - He could re-home with sibling dog pending successful meet & greet ๐ถ He is not child or cat tested, but has a very calm nature about him. From the moment he arrived in our care he has just been a dream. He is super social , loves meeting people & doggies alike ๐ถ He just aims to please & is a dream boat ๐ฅฐ Shep is such a sweet natured boy, he loves the pets & human affection .. he just loves to be close to you ๐ซถ๐ฝ He is so easy to walk on the lead , he happily trots on beside you & gives a big waggy tail to any dog he meets. He could re-home with sibling dog pending successful meet & greet ๐ถ He is not cat tested. โจ Introducing the most distinguished little chap โฆ ๐ช๐๐๐ ๐ ๐ ๐พ He is an 8 year old Patterjack who was surrendered into our care through no fault of his own. Clyde is the coolest guy, very easy going & just loves being by your side. Since arriving at the Hub he has been such a joy to take care of. Heโs friendly with everyone he meets , loves getting out for his walkies & having a good roll in the grass ๐ฅฐ Clyde is a dream to walk on the lead, doesnโt pull at all & does the cutest little jump when he gets excited ๐ He is good with other dogs & could re-home with a sibling pending successful meet & greet , or would happily live as a solo dog being treated like the king he is ๐ For some reason he is not a fan of huskies .. but good with children. He is not cat tested. Clyde is a slightly older boy but you wouldnโt know it, he has a lovely bounce of energy & is starting to show his playful side too ๐ซถ๐ฝ Heโs a firm favourite amongst the volunteers, we just adore him ! โจ Introducing the cutest besties youโve ever seen in your life โฆ ๐ซ๐๐๐ & ๐บ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฉท๐พ๐ฉท These gorgeous girls came into our care as strays & were sadly never re-claimed ๐ฅบ Stella, is an older beagle approx 9/10yr old & Dani approx 5 year old lurcher. These girls have been an absolute joy to have in our care โฆ we are obsessed with them ๐ฅฐ Dani has come on leap & bounds , initially a timid girl she is now learning to love cuddles & Stella , the mamma of the duo is queen of attention & belly rubs ๐ Both girls have super temperaments, very placid & so gentle - They just want attention ๐ซถ๐ฝ The girls are great to walk on the lead, house trained & love nothing more than a tag team cuddle up in bed to rest their little heads ๐ฅน Dani (lurcher) - Is such an elegant, beautiful girl with manners to burn. Her confidence is growing every day & sheโs learning what cuddles are ๐ฅฐ She is a gentle girl who loves her treats โฆ and tripping up on her sisters ears ๐คฃ Stella (beagle) - Is the ๐๐ธ๐น๐ผ๐ฉ๐ผ๐ฏ๐ผ๐ช๐ฉ of a cuddle queen , there is nothing she wants more than to be held & cuddled until she melts away in your arms. Sheโs a gentle baby too who just yearns for affection ๐ฅฐ Dani & Stella are the dream team , they are so easy breezy they make our job easy ! These girls are full of love , affection & just want a safe / cosy home to call their own ๐ฅน They are a bonded pair & at Stellaโs older age we would hate to take her bestie / security blanket away - These girls really need to go as a pair โฆ the easiest pair you could imagine ๐ฅฐ There is a fantastic forever home out there for these girls .. we just know it ! โจ This girl is now in the care of the Hub, and we're working hard to find her forever home ๐ซถ๐ฝ ๐ต๐๐๐ ๐ฉท ๐พ โ๏ธ 19 month old German Shepherd cross โ๏ธ Basic training, good re-call & following commands โ๏ธ Goofy, fun personality โ๏ธ Can be reactive with some dogs โ๏ธ Preferably dog only home โ No young kids - Teenagers, dog savvy only as she's a big strong girl โ Not cat tested Nala is a sweet, affectionate girl who just wants to be by your side. She's happiest with a job to do and a bit of room to stretch her legs, and in return she gives back total loyalty & an unbreakable bond ๐ฉท She's eager to please and loves nothing more than spending time with her favourite humans. A few things to keep in mind: ๐พ Enjoys an active routine โ a bit of exercise and mental stimulation keeps her happy & settled ๐ Training is important โ Nala is intelligent & eager, but she needs structure and consistency ๐ Breed experience is strongly recommended If you're looking for a devoted companion to share your days with, Nala is the girl for you ๐ฉท๐พ

๐ฉท This gorgeous girl came into our care through no fault of her own & is an absolute gem ๐ She is a 4 year old beautiful lab ๐ Lottie is only new into our care but she is such a gorgeous girl โฆ her world has been turned upside down & she has no idea why ๐ข She has been so sweet with us , just crying & wanting someone to cuddle her .. sheโs breaking our hearts ๐ Lottie is a great to walk on the lead , she doesnโt pull & the poor slightly โlargerโ girl could do with losing a few pounds ๐ซฃ She is gentle , mannerly & loves to play with toys .. sheโs a cutie ๐ ๐งธ Lottie is non reactive with other dogs, she likes to keep to herself, so could re-home with sibling dog providing successful meet & greet ๐ถ She is not child or cat tested. Lottie has only been in our care a short time but kennel life isnโt for her , sheโs crying & pining for the home life she once had ๐ฅบ This gorgeous girl needs to find her perfect forever family soon โฆ despite her fear of kennels she is so sweet & loving.
